Portable restroom services in Minnesota
Ten unit types. Every page below states what the unit physically is, the published standard it is sized against, what the rate includes, and the specific factors that move the price on a Minnesota job.
Which unit do I need?
Job site with a crew: standard or construction units, sized by the OSHA ratio. Public event: standard units plus at least one ADA unit per cluster. Wedding or corporate event: a restroom trailer, or deluxe flushing units where a trailer will not fit. Anything on the ground between November and March: a winterized or heated unit.

Job site and long-term
Construction Porta Potty Rental
Monthly job-site restroom placements sized to your crew count and billed on a 28-day cycle.
$185 to $340 per unit per 28-day cycle with weekly service
OSHA requires one toilet for up to 20 workers. Above 20 workers and up to 200, the standard is one toilet seat and one urinal per 40 workers.
Long Term Porta Potty Rental
Placements measured in seasons rather than days: park and trail projects, agricultural operations, seasonal businesses, campgrounds and multi-phase builds.
$165 to $290 per unit per 28-day cycle on placements of 3 months or longer
Use the same OSHA or PSAI ratio as a short-term placement, then revisit unit count each season as site activity changes.

Events and weddings
Event Porta Potty Rental
Weekend and single-day restroom placements for festivals, races, fairs, reunions and church events across Minnesota.
$135 to $225 per unit for a 1 to 3 day event placement
Start at one unit per 50 guests for four hours, add 15 to 20 percent if alcohol is served, add 20 to 30 percent if food is served, and include at least one accessible unit per cluster.
Wedding Restroom Rental
Barn, backyard and lakeside weddings in Minnesota almost never have enough plumbed fixtures for the guest list.
$850 to $2,400 per wedding weekend depending on trailer size
For a four to five hour reception, plan a 2-station trailer up to about 100 guests, a 3-station to about 200, and an 8 to 10 station trailer above 300.

Specialty units
ADA Portable Restroom Rental
Ground-level, wheelchair-accessible units with a 60-inch turning radius, grab bars and a no-step threshold.
$240 to $450 per 28-day rental with weekly service
At least 5 percent of the single-user portable units in each cluster must be accessible, with a minimum of one accessible unit wherever portable restrooms are provided.
Restroom Trailer Rental
Climate-controlled trailers with flushing toilets, running water, mirrors and lighting.
$850 to $1,900 per weekend for a 2 to 3 station trailer
A 2-station trailer comfortably serves about 100 guests for four hours, a 3-station serves about 200, and above 300 guests plan an 8 to 10 station trailer or a trailer plus standard units.
Handwashing Station Rental
Freestanding portable sinks with fresh water, soap and towels, plumbed to a greywater tank.
$85 to $165 per rental period, event or monthly
Plan roughly one two-station handwash unit per four portable restrooms, and one per food-service area regardless of restroom count.
Deluxe Flushing Porta Potty Rental
The middle option between a standard unit and a restroom trailer: the same small footprint, but with a flush, a real sink and a mirror.
$250 to $425 per 28-day rental with weekly service
Use the same headcount ratios as a standard unit, because the upgrade changes the experience rather than the capacity.
Winter and Heated Porta Potty Rental
Minnesota runs job sites through January, and an untreated unit will freeze solid.
$215 to $420 per 28-day winter rental with weekly service
Winter crews use restrooms less often but for longer. Plan the same OSHA ratio and expect fuller tanks per visit, because less liquid evaporates in cold weather.
